McDaniels put up 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist, and one steal across 12 minutes in Monday's 130-81 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Since his March 5 recall from the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers, McDaniels has surprisingly emerged as a rotation piece for the Rockets. He's appeared in the last four games and is averaging 7.3 points (on 50% shooting), 2.5 rebounds, and one assist across 14.3 minutes. Unless McDaniels falters in his subsequent games to come, look for him to see some time on the team's second unit, where he'll take away minutes from Corey Brewer.
