McDaniels chipped in two points (1-1 FG), two rebounds, and one assist over five minutes in Wednesday's 114-81 Game 5 loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
After logging 20 minutes in the Rockets' Game 1 blowout loss, McDaniels played only 14 combined minutes in the other four games of the series, ceding most of his court time to Michael Beasley. McDaniels periodically entered the Rockets' rotation for a few stretches of the campaign, but was never able to establish himself as a full-time option under interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff, finishing the regular season with averages of 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.4 minutes across just 37 appearances.
