Matt Barnes (eye) said he's hoping to return to the team for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, according to the Clippers TV broadcast. When he was diagnosed with his retinal tear back on Nov. 21, he was expected to be out for two weeks and is well past that prognosis. The Clippers could use him back in the lineup with Jared Dudley not playing well, Reggie Bullock (ankle) out and J.J. Redick (hand) also out for a while. Barnes has a low upside and will be in a timeshare with Dudley at small forward.
