Maker (wrist) will play in Saturday's preseason tilt with the Mavericks and is expected to see around 20-to-25 minutes, Chris Haynes of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
That's more of an aggressive workload than expected for Maker, who was limited for nearly a week after suffering a sprained right wrist earlier in training camp. However, it appears Maker has demonstrated enough progress in his recovery during recent practices for the Bucks to sign off on a healthy minutes count in his preseason debut. The long, lengthy Maker was somewhat of a mystery man coming into the 2016 NBA Draft after bypassing college and the overseas ranks to play for a Canadian prep school last season, but the Bucks believe the 19-year-old can claim a rotation spot to open his rookie campaign. Now that he's healthy, Maker will see plenty of run in the preseason as coach Jason Kidd looks to give him some needed experience prior to the regular season.
