Lin will start Tuesday's opener against the Rockets. The absence of Steve Nash presents an opportunity for Lin to assume the vast majority of the point guard minutes, and he'll now step in as the starter when the regular season begins. Ronnie Price may still be in the conversation to start, though, as Byron Scott may prefer to bring Lin off the bench. Whether he starts or not, Lin's fantasy value is close to as high as it's ever been given the players with which he's competing for playing time.
