Lin was back in action Sunday after being a DNP-Coach's Decision for Friday's game. He put up 14 points (2-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 10-14 FT) and six assists in 28 minutes off the bench against the Rockets. Coach Byron Scott is giving rookie Jordan Clarkson a look as the Lakers' starting point guard, but if Clarkson continues to struggle, Scott's hand might be forced to play Lin big minutes. While Clarkson is the more intriguing long-term play on the Lakers, Lin is the more seasoned player, so it wouldn't be surprising if Lin steals the starting job, or at least plays more minutes most nights.
