Lin (back) scored nine points (4-8 FG, 1-1 FT) and added six assists, four rebounds, one steal, and one block across 24 minutes during the Hornets' 100-91 win against the 76ers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Lin returned following a one-game absence with a sore back to post a solid statistical effort against the lowly 76ers. Though coach Steve Clifford has shown he is willing to pair Lin and Walker on the floor together for significant stretches, Lin typically only plays about half the game. Over his last four appearances, he is averaging 10.8 points, 4.3 assists to 2.5 turnovers, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 26 minutes. While the Hornets can clinch a playoff spot with just one more win, home-court advantage in the first round is still very much up in the air. As a result, Lin and the other regulars will likely see sufficient playing time to finish the regular season.
