Lin (ankle) is officially listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Suns, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Earlier Wednesday, coach Kenny Atkinson said he was hopeful for Lin to return on Thursday and that appears to be coming to fruition, as Lin has been upgraded to probable after missing Tuesday's matchup with the Pistons. A final word on his availability likely won't come until after the team's morning shootaround on Thursday, but as it currently stands, Lin should be back in the rotation. Lin's return would mean decreased roles for the likes of Spencer Dinwiddie, Isaiah Whitehead and Archie Goodwin, but it remains to be seen if he'll re-enter the starting five.
