Lin (ankle) is considered day-to-day but is hopeful to play against the Suns on Thursday, Bryan Fonseca of NetsDaily.com reports.

Lin injured his ankle against the Mavericks on Sunday and was forced to sit out Tuesday's game against the Pistons. The injury isn't considered serious and he shouldn't be held out much longer, even if he does sit out Thursday. If he is limited or held out against the Suns look for Spencer Dinwiddie and Isaiah Whitehead to again pick up extra minutes.
