Coach Nick Nurse said after Wednesday's loss to the Celtics that he doesn't expect Siakam (rest) to play the second half of the back-to-back set Thursday against the 76ers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

Wednesday's contest was Siakam's second of the season after he missed the start of the campaign while recovering from offseason surgery, so it's not a major surprise he won't immediately be playing in both ends of a back-to-back set. The 27-year-old had a quiet showing in Boston with eight points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes.
