Lauvergne was active and available off the bench after missing the last two games with an ailing toe, but coach Mike Malone was unwilling to turn to the big man in a closely contested matchup. It appears Malone is now comfortable with using Jusuf Nurkic (17 minutes) for more court time after Nurkic was recently bothered by knee and ankle issues, and that could ultimately result in Lauvergne losing out on his rotation spot as the backup center behind starter Nikola Jokic.
