Landry Fields played well as a fill-in starter for Terrence Ross (ankle) on Sunday, scoring eight points on 4-of-5 shooting with six rebounds and one steal. This came out of the blue given Fields' rough season, to put it mildly. The four-year veteran missed time after having wrist surgery and he's averaging a career-worst 2.3 points on 35.6 percent shooting, a far cry from his impressive rookie campaign with the Knicks (9.7 points, 39.3 percent from downtown). Ross may be ready to play in Toronto's next game on Friday and there's no reason to consider Fields in average fantasy formats despite this solid performance.
