Knight (groin) has been ruled out for the entirety of the Suns' upcoming four-game road trip, the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Knight has been hampered by the groin since New Year's Eve, and he's missed each of the last two games after aggravating the injury during Tuesday's loss to Indiana. The 24-year-old received a second opinion in Los Angeles on Friday, and he said he was "definitely encouraged" by the visit and believes he'll be able to avoid surgery. Knight will remain in Phoenix while the team heads to Philadelphia to begin the trip Tuesday night, and the earliest he could be back on the court is next Tuesday (Feb. 2) when the Suns return home to host the Raptors. With Eric Bledsoe (knee) done for the season, the Suns will rely on young guards Archie Goodwin and Devin Booker to pick up the slack. Lorenzo Brown is also an option, though his second 10-day contract is set to expire Wednesday.
