Kilpatrick scored 22 points (5-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), along with four rebounds, five assists and a steal during the Nets' 107-97 win over the Lakers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Kilpatrick filled in admirably for the injured Jeremy Lin (hamstring). Even before Lin was out, Brooklyn leaned on Kilpatrick's outside shooting from the perimeter. The Nets simply don't have many options from the outside, and Kilpatrick has a quick release combined with a healthy 35.2 percent average from deep. Against the Lakers, he was lights out from beyond the arc again, but also navigated the pick-and-roll well, finding Brook Lopez with several nifty pocket passes.
