Kilpatrick contributed 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 20 minutes in Friday's 121-120 overtime victory over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year shooting guard is making the most of his 10-day contract with Brooklyn, putting together a second consecutive solid performance in relatively modest minutes. Kilpatrick followed an eight-point tally on Tuesday versus the Lakers with a season-high 12 points, and drained multiple threes for the second straight game. While his role and usage are certainly up in the air at this point, Kilpatrick could conceivably flash enough potential to warrant a contract for the remainder of the season. If interim coach Tony Brown opts to go with a youth movement in the latter stages of the campaign, Kilpatrick could certainly be a benificiary.
