Josh McRoberts has an opt out clause in his contract that he can exercise after the 2013-14 season. McRoberts can opt out of his contract after the 2013-14 season, but 42 minutes of playing time in a Game 4 loss Monday night indicates that coach Steve Clifford hopes McBob sticks around. McRoberts averaged 38.3 minutes per game in the Bobcats' opening round loss to the Heat and put up averages of 11.5 points, 2.0 3-pointers, 6.8 boards, 3.8 dimes, and 1.0 steals in the series. With those types of minutes and numbers, McRoberts could provide owners with late-round value next season and it would be a surprise to see the Bobcats let him leave Charlotte.
