Josh Childress admitted that he's a candidate for the amnesty clause this offseason. Childress was barely part of the Suns' rotation this season, averaging 2.9 points per game in his 34 appearances. He has three years and $21 million left on his contract. If the Suns are going to appease and retain free agent Steve Nash, they'll have to free some money up and acquire better talent.
