Evbuomwan and the Nets agreed to a two-way contract Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Evbuomwan previously saw NBA action in 17 games as a rookie in 2023-24, averaging 5.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 21.6 minutes per contest between stops with Memphis and Detroit. He's been a standout performer thus far in the G League with the San Diego Clippers, appearing in 16 contests while averaging 18.4 points in 32.6 minutes per contest and shooting 51.9 percent from the field. The 6-foot-7 forward will occupy one of the Nets' three two-way slots and could end up being a factor in Brooklyn's rotation at some point this season, but most of his initial playing time in his new organization is likely to come with the G League's Long Island Nets.
