Johnson will return to the bench for Thursday's Game 3 against the Wizards, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.

Johnson was inserted back into the starting lineup for Monday's Game 2, but after the Celtics got off to a slow start, he was pulled from the game and didn't receive much playing time the rest of the way. He's played single-digit minutes over his last two games and was held out of the rotation completely in the three contests prior to that, so it's safe to avoid Johnson in Thursday's DFS slate. Gerald Green will be moving into the starting lineup in Johnson's place as the Celtics go with a smaller lineup.
