Jeremy Lin was dominated by Deron Williams in the Knicks' 100-92 loss to the Nets on Monday, but he still fared well with Carmelo Anthony (groin) returning as he scored 21 points with seven rebounds, nine assists, and four steals in 36 minutes. Lin hit just 7-of-18 shots from the field (including two threes), but the good news was that he had just three turnovers. While this game would appear to serve as confirmation that Lin is going to hold his value with Melo back in the fold, we're all but writing off this game for evaluation purposes. The Knicks not only had to work in Melo, but also had newbies J.R. Smith and Baron Davis on the court tonight. They got whooped up by the Nets and lost their cool repeatedly, and with all the moving parts we'll give the entire team a mulligan. We won't be so kind after the next one, though.
