Jeremy Lin played 30 minutes in a start at point guard on Friday, finishing with 14 points, three boards, four assists, three steals and six turnovers. Aaron Brooks still saw 23 minutes off the bench, so Lin really didn't see an increased opportunity with Patrick Beverley (ribs) out. He should still have better nights in the next 10-14 days, but might have a tough time keeping Beverley at bay upon the second-year guard's return.
