Jeremy Lin (illness) will not play against the Magic on Wednesday. He is going home to get some rest and might be another causality of all the overseas games this preseason. Lin's absence allows Patrick Beverley to get another start tonight, which has made this an interesting position battle. He is still expected to be the starter on opening night.
