Isaiah Thomas scored 24 points on 7-of-18 shooting (no threes, 10-of-10 FTs) with four rebounds, five assists, and one steal in Friday's loss to the Sixers. Venerable NBA and Kings writer Tom Ziller wrote that the Kings "can't afford to have Isaiah Thomas" off the floor, and then cracked on the sophomore only getting 24 mpg this season. The running joke of Keith Smart's handling of the point guard is barely worth mentioning -- a given now -- and owners just have to hope the horse eventually drinks. Had the keys been given to IT at the end of last season, instead of letting the rest of the team set new standards for bad decision-making, the Kings wouldn't look like the Indians in Major League.
