Interest in free agent C Jason Collins has been "scarce." It would be silly to jump the conclusion that this is because Collins revealed he is gay in April. The lack of interest is because he's 34, severely lacks offensive skills and can't be much more than a third center at this point in his career. Collins is training in Los Angeles in the hopes of landing a one-year deal. The Pistons have passed.
