The Mavericks are signing Lawson to a two-way contract Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Lawson was let go by Dallas on Tuesday but has now been brought back as a two-way player. He will spend the 2024-25 campaign splitting time between the Mavericks and their G League affiliate, the Texas Legends.
