Impending free agent Chris Andersen is hopeful to return to the Heat. Andersen proved to be a valuable piece for the height-starved Heat, providing a defensive presence and energy off the bench. The Heat only have a $3.183 million mid-level exception available for free agents, and it's unclear how much of that they'll want to use on the Birdman. It's unlikely they can have him and Greg Oden.
