We begin with a replacement in the Sprite Slam Dunk contest during All-Star Saturday night. New York swingman Iman Shumpert due to a knee injury that also forced him to sit out Monday night's loss to New Jersey. Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz will take Shumpert's place. I imagine most of you are shrugging and don't really care, but you should. Shumpert was to have been assisted by teammate and recent Linsation Jeremy Lin. No mention of Lin, but we can only imagine he will now not be taking part as well.
