Smart (calf) is targeting a return to game action after the All-Star break, which runs from March 5-10, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smart's left calf strain that has hampered him since the end of January looks like it will likely keep him out for the remainder of the first half, though he has resumed traveling with the team and taken part in parts of practice of late. Including Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Smart looks poised to miss at least another seven games after having already sat out 11 contests on account of the injury. Smart is averaging 13.1 points, 6.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 and 1.6 three-pointers per game over 17 appearances on the campaign.
