Hill has agreed to a two-year deal with the Timberwolves, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The deal, rumored to be a two-year, $8 million deal, will add a viable center/forward to a young Timberwolves team lacking much in the way of a veteran presence. With Karl Anthony-Towns, Gorgui Dieng, Cole Aldrich and Kevin Garnett all able to play either the power forward or center position, this move will give the Timberwolves room to play around with the roster matchups in the frontcourt. With no timetable to return for Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic, the Timberwolves might be buying insurance on Pekovic's damaged goods with the signings of Hill and Aldrich.
