Ariza has agreed to a one-year deal with the Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
After making a move for Russell Westbrook, the Lakers severely lacked three-point shooting and that is why they targeted Ariza in free agency. The 36-year-old has shot over 33.0 percent from three for the past decade and is a reliable wing defender. Ariza has spent the last three seasons as a veteran bench presence with five different teams, most recently with the Heat, and will likely play the same role for Los Angeles.
