Hassan Whiteside (knee surgery) is expected to be cleared for basketball activities in August. Whiteside tried to play through the injury last year but struggled even while playing for the Reno Bighorns of the NBADL. The 2010 second-rounder projects as a shot-blocker off the bench at best.
