Hamilton spent time with three different teams in 2014-15, ending the season with the Timberwolves, for whom he averaged 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17 contests. Hamilt started the season in Miami, where he played 24 games, making five starts, while the team fought through numerous injuries. While he was a dependable end-of-the-bench player, Hamilton was ultimately expendable, and he was sent to New Orleans as part of a deadline deal. Hamilton was ultimately waived by the Pelicans before appearing in a game, and the Timberwolves claimed him less than two days later. With Minnesota ravaged by frontcourt injuries down the stretch, Hamilton saw an expanded role, averaging nearly 25 minutes per game. His future is unclear, however, as his contract entails a $1.5 million qualifying offer for next season.
