Greivis Vasquez started at point guard on Friday against the Clippers, but missed all five of his shot attempts while handing out 12 assists in 22 minutes. The assists are somewhat fluky given the preseason tempo and the Kings started off slow yet again, but it's almost cliche to start the guy that only wants to pass if you've watched years of bad basketball in Sacramento. The Sacramento media is pushing hard for Vasquez to start, and the team has been vocal in their praise of his pass-only ways. And with Thomas scoring 27 points tonight off the bench he might have inadvertently bought himself a bench job.
