Gobert managed nine points (3-3 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists, a steal and four blocks over 28 minutes in Saturday's 98-83 victory over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
The Stifle Tower was productive across the stat sheet in his first start since returning from an 18-game absence. With Derrick Favors (back) and Rodney Hood (ankle) both out of action Saturday, Gobert was likely pressed back into extended action a bit sooner than planned. Encouragingly, he was able to tally 28 minutes and put up numbers that with the exception of rebounds, generally matched or exceeded his season averages. Gobert should only gain confidence in his knee and conditioning from an outing such as Saturday's, and would figure to be ready to assume his customary workload going forward.
