Gobert has been diagnosed with a Grade II MCL sprain in his left knee and will be out indefinitely.
EDGE Analysis
Per the team, Gobert sustained the injury during Wednesday's practice, and an MRI revealed the sprain. While Gobert will not undergo surgery, it's unclear how long he'll remain out, as the Jazz are yet to hand down any sort of timetable. It's safe to assume Gobert will miss a few weeks, at the least, and Jeff Withey and Trevor Booker should each see larger roles in the big man's absence.
