Konchar is starting Thursday's preseason game against the Hornets, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

Konchar will step into the starting five due as the Grizzlies are already dealing with a handful of injuries to key players. He should be prepared to log plenty of minutes with Jaren Jackson (hamstring), Vince Williams (lower leg) and Brandon Clarke (knee) all ruled out.
