Gasol (knee) will not play Saturday against the Jazz, ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell reports.

Gasol's knee inflammation has kept him out for three games to this point and it will continue to hold him out at least one more contest as coach Fred Hoiberg announced that the veteran big man would be out against Utah. Fortunately for the Bulls, Taj Gibson has been able to play through some hamstring tightness, but their depth and experience overall up front is thin after Gasol and Gibson. Monday's game against Sacramento will be the earliest return date for Gasol.
