Free agent Kyle Lowry and the Heat have "mutual interest," according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. Lowry is coming off a terrific season with the Raptors in which he averaged career-highs in points (17.9), 3-pointers (2.4), rebounds (4.7) and assists (7.4), while adding 1.5 steals and a stingy 2.5 turnovers in 36 minutes per game. He told beat writer Michael Grange in early May, "I love this situation [in Toronto]. It's as simple as that." Any daliance with the Heat is complicated by Miami's salary-cap crunch -- in order to pay Lowry the $10+ million he'll earn annually as a free agent, at least one of Miami's Big 3 would have to opt out and restructure their contract this summer.
