Merrill (ankle) is expected to remain out for a few weeks, Meghan Triplett of Grind City Media reports.

Merrill had already been labeled as out for Monday's matchup against the Jazz, and he's set to miss at least another handful of games while on the mend. He hasn't made much of an impact with Memphis so far this season, appearing in six games and averaging 4.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 9.5 minutes.
