Head coach Ime Udoka said Smart (ankle) practiced Wednesday and is expected to play in Thursday's contest against the Nets, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

Smart suffered the sprained ankle during the Celtics' second to last contest before the All-Star break and remained sidelined for final game as well. However, the week-long break appears to have paid off, and the point guard is expected to be good to go for the stretch run.
