The Nets announced that Duke cleared the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols ahead of Thursday's game against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Assuming Duke doesn't require time to regain conditioning following his seven-day stint in the protocols, he should be available to play Thursday. Before being shut down for the past two games, the rookie out of Providence had played 30-plus minutes in a starting role in three consecutive contests for the shorthanded Nets. Brooklyn has since restored several players from the protocols -- including James Harden and Kevin Durant -- so Duke is likely to fill only a small bench role Thursday, if he's included in head coach Steve Nash's rotation at all.
