Beverley (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) played 29 minutes in Tuesday's 96-88 loss to the Knicks, tallying three points (0-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven assists, seven rebounds and one steal.
EDGE Analysis
In his return from a three-game absence, Beverley started but moved into an off-ball role, as head coach Chris Finch elected to keep Jordan McLaughlin in the fold at point guard with D'Angelo Russell still in the health and safety protocols. Beverley wasn't able to knock down any shots from the field and turned in a poor showing from the charity stripe, but his contributions in the rebounds and assists categories saved his night. Though not a standout in any one area, Beverley's season-long averages of 8.5 points, 4.8 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.2 three-pointers, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks make him a solid 12-team option.
