Elton Brand was invisible in 17 minutes vs. the Rockets, going scoreless with four rebounds and four personal fouls. Chris Kaman continues to start at center but up until tonight Brand had been carving out fantasy value in a bench role. The Mavs simply couldn't match up with the Rockets' run-and-gun personnel tonight, and they gave up a 44-point third quarter, so hopefully this was an isolated incident.
