Elton Brand played a season-high 30 minutes against the Nets on Monday, scoring 10 points with seven boards and three blocks. It was easily his best game of the season and he was the first big man off the bench. Brand did not play more than 20 minutes in a game before tonight and that 20-minute outing had a lot to do with garbage time. The Hawks have some work to do up front, so Brand is only worth a look in deep leagues. His 34-year-old frame also makes him an injury risk.
