Elton Brand helped propel the Mavericks to a win with 17 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in 28 minutes on Saturday. Brand shot 8-of-12 from the field in what turned out to be one of his best games of the season. He tied his season highs in points and boards while setting a new high in blocks. Dirk coming back will put a dent in Brand's value and the former Sixer hasn't scored in double figures in consecutive games, so owners in shallower formats can keep him on the wire until he goes off at least one more time.
