It was his first 20-plus point effort, and first game draining multiple three-pointers, since December 28 against the Hawks. Ellis' scoring remains down this season, as he's had trouble adjusting to Indiana's system, but he's now averaging a modestly better 15.3 points a game in January so it's possible he'll pick up the pace even further in the second half.
