The 28-year-old was a meaningful contributor for the Mavs in 2013-14, averaging 6.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in nearly 21 minutes per game. While he's a crafty scorer and adequate defender, Douglas-Roberts struggles as an outside shooter (career 32.9 percent), making it difficult to keep him on the floor for long stretches in certain lineups. In New Orleans, Douglas-Roberts will compete with the likes of Luke Babbitt, Alonzo Gee and Quincy Pondexter for bench minutes on the wing.
