Gobert chipped in 23 points (9-10 FG, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds and five blocks over 33 minutes during Monday's 119-118 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Double-doubles are nothing new for Gobert -- he has achieved the feat in all but three of his 17 games this season -- but Monday's performance stood out in that he tied a season high in scoring and racked up a campaign-best five blocked shots. The big man has now scored 20-plus points in consecutive contests for the first time this season, making a remarkable 17 of 22 field-goal attempts and 10 of 12 free-throw attempts over the two-game stretch. It's pretty much assumed that Gobert is going to contribute double-digit rebounds and at least one swat in nearly every contest, but if he is every able to score 20-plus points consistently and become a reliable free-throw shooter, his fantasy value would go through the roof.
