Dieng provided 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and one steal across 30 minutes in Monday's 113-99 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Dieng saw 30 minutes for the third time in four games thanks to Kevin Garnett (rest) sitting out, but the third-year big man has often been in line for that kind of playing time even when the lightly-used Garnett is available. With Sam Mitchell showing a greater willingness to limit the roles of Garnett and Nemanja Bjelica of late, Dieng appears primed to see 25-plus minutes on a regular basis, which should make him a quality source of rebounds and blocked shots in deeper formats.
