Dieng (ankle) rolled his left ankle in the second quarter, left the court, but returned to the start the second half, ending the game with eight points (2-6 FG, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks Saturday. It appears the Timberwolves and Dieng owners have dodged a bullet, but as with ankle injuries, swelling can occur overnight. The Wolves are off until Wednesday, which should give Dieng ample recovery time, but in case things worsen, Jeff Adrien would see additional time at center with Nikola Pekovic (ankle) also missing.
